Before Founded Colorado launched, our founding members joined consumer advocates, the tech industry, schools, hospitals, small businesses, and lawmakers to rethink Colorado’s first-in-the-nation AI law. The result was a framework (SB 26-189) that gives Coloradans the right to know when AI is shaping decisions about them, while giving companies clear, workable rules. It passed with broad bipartisan support, and it’s the model for how we work: engaging early on emerging issues and finding solutions so Colorado’s home team companies can keep building and growing here.
